Education and Work:

I received my primary education at Bhumre School and Garahun Kali School in Walling.  Then I did my secondary studies until Grade 10 from Siddhartha Vanasthali School in Kathmandu. On passing my 10^th grade, I was ranked second (popularly known as Board Second) among about 95000 students who appeared for School Leaving Certificate(SLC) exam in 1992. I then did my Cambridge O and A-levels from Budhanilkantha School. 

In 1995, I  was awarded  Academic Excellence and Leadership  Scholarship, the best of its kind, at University of Bridgeport in United States for my undergraduate studies. The scholarship covered full tuition, room and board for 4 years of my studies. While completing my degree, I was involved in student government as the Senator of School of Science and Technology in 1996. As the President and one of the founders of the Himalayan Club, I organized Himalayan Nite in 1996 and 1997.  Himalayan Nite is one of the most popular and attended event of all times and is now organized anually. I graduated in May 1999 with a degree in Computer Science.

After I graduated, I worked in the IT industry for six years. First I worked for Bricsnet in Portsmouth, USA for more than two years developing web-based project management software for use in construction industry. Second, I worked for a telecom company Pingtel, Boston, USA as a Software Engineer for two years. I primarily used Java platform to develop applications for the Vo-IP phones which used VxWorks as Operating System. While in Boston, I was elected the President of Greater Boston Nepali Community (GBNC) for 2002/2003 and organized various successful community events. Third, I moved to Kathmandu, Nepal and worked on different management roles for D2HawkeyeServices in Kathmandu, Nepal which provides IT solutions for clients all over the world.

I am currently doing my MBA at IESE Business School in Barcelona, Spain. During the summer, I worked for Citigroup as a Summer Associate in Global Transaction Services (GTS) division in London office.           

Personal:

I got married with Srijana Sapkota on Jan 20, 2003 in Nepal.         
My parents( Photo: dad, mom) live in Gaidakot, Nawalparasi, Nepal. 

My father-in-law and mother-in-law live in Shankernagar, Butwal, Nepal.

My sister Pushpa Paudel completed her MBA in 2006 from Johnson and Wales University, Rhode Island, US.
